My Gear Fit 2 Wont Count My Floors
Hold down the power button for at least 7 seconds and it.
My gear fit 2 wont count my floors. Ive tried resetting my device using a compu. Still learning how to use all the functionality. I just got the galaxy watch yesterday black friday and immediately noticed the floor count is useless. It calculates one floor as climbing up three metres.
It seems to be fairly accurate with step count but never with stairs climbed. Just got my gear fit2 pro last week. I have 20 steps up to my front door i go up and down 20 times a day and it never counts a single floor or step climbed. I ve has my fitbit since christmas and it was working fine for the first week and then as i went back to school i realised it wasn t counting my stairs.
I have a 2 story house and it registered 1 floor all day. However there are several factors that can cause your floor count to seem inaccurate such as your environment and the way you walk. This is also why your floor count might increase if you walk up a steep path. This issue arises when there is no successful pairing of devices to achieve the pairing between your smart band and your phone you need to ensure a proper bluetooth connection.
This problem occurs when samsung gear fit 2 pro fails to fetch data from the s health app thus this prevents the device from functioning well. Inaccurate floor count factors on your samsung smart watch your watch automatically tracks the number of floors you ve climbed while wearing the watch. If i stop at the top of each floor and i ve semi swung my arms then it will register each floor. If i walk at a normal pace without swinging my arms it doesn t register the floors until i ve climbed 2 3 of them.
Looks and is dangerous. I purchased this to replace my fitbit blaze and old asus zw2 which is dying and wanted 1 device to cover both of their functionality. 0ne issue is its not counting correct number of floors i just tried walking stairs by holding my hand low at the bottom then rising my hand high at the top then walked down in the same way but it still did not count. I m climbing floors with 12 steps that equate to more than 10 feet vertical.
If you find that your gear fit won t turn on or the power button is completely unresponsive then don t panic. I know i do more than 10 stairs a day because i have to walk around school but it doesn t count them. I also question the step count. I have an s10 and the gear rose gold watch and mine never counts floors either.
Floor counting does not work out of the box.
