Nail Through Floor Leveling Compound

I am installing a wood floor and have some areas of the plywood subfloor that need to be levelled prior to installation of the wood floor i have looked at a number of products such as mapei planipatch.
Nail through floor leveling compound. Is there a self levelling compound that can be used below hardwood floors. I ve got a subfloor that is all wavy and want to get it flat for hardwood installation. This area is a transition are between a great room and a kitchen that will all be covered with the new engineered flooring. I would imagine a cement based one wouldn t hold up to the 100 s of nails from the hardwood very well.
Remove any obstacles from the floor. It was only slightly more difficult than the plywood to staple the boards and the staples were plenty long enough to go completely through it to the plywood below. The underlayment is excellent for smoothing and flattening interior surfaces before installing floor coverings. Thanks alot dan dunce.
As far as i can see none explicitly state that the wood flooring can be nailed down through the levelling compound into the subfloor. Self levelling cement can be a good alternative for levelling these issues without having to fix the entire structure of the floor. Use over concrete wood tile terrazzo and cut back adhesive. Clean it well with a wet dry vacuum.
I love it because you can pour it one day and walk over it the next. Any product recommendations would be appreciated. Self leveling underlayment is an easy to use cement based underlayment that self levels. For our hardwood installation there was a patch of floor that was very uneven.
Henry floor leveler compound nail through i planned on using henry leveling compound up to 1 2 inch thick over an area about 3 feet wide by 8 feet long. I used some self leveling compound without any trouble.
