Oculus Too High From Floor

I m in a wheelchair but i raised my seat up and it still isn t enough.
Oculus too high from floor. Absolutely no issue in games from the oculus app. Re calibrating the whole room is a pita as my monitor faces away from my play area so i always need a second person to complete the setup. Character is too small then seated. Neither helps i always start all games at the level of the floor.
It s supposed to get the data from the oculus driver so yeah like alien mentioned try redoing the oculus setup or reset the floor. It changes from restart to restart sometimes it s fine. If you find out a fix let me know 2. I am trying to adjust it from the guardian system but it detects the floor very high.
Is there a way to get this to work for me. Oculus home desktop app devices configure rift floor position see what the prior value was if it matches what you set it to originally. Even with the oculus studios productions the floor height was incorrect compared to the real world and following your link just told me to do what i already have. I have oculus rift and even tho i am standing the floor is in my chest basically.
I ended up doing a workaround ducking down low during the scan and artificially raising myself so that the floor aligned with the real world. Typically this happens during gameplay or a vr experience when you may appear say 4 feet tall. Apr 24 2016 2 56pm. The oculus height issue will manifest itself by incorrectly representing your height within vr.
So reaching to grab something from the floor and your hand will hit the floor before you pick up the vr object. Annoying to say the least. Any way to fix this. I ve even tried going into oculus settings and switching the floor position all the.
Last edited by einalex. Absolutely no other tracking issues controllers are tracked perfectly pretty much everywhere. I run the room setup several times either using the floor for height measurement or putting headset on the chair and entering 50cm. And the options in the game menu doent change the.
Not sure if this is something that crept in with the 1 11 update but oculus thinks i m hovering above the floor a good foot or so right now. Roomscale setup works fine and is very accurate but after a steamvr restart the floor is often too high or too low by about 10cm.
