Scrub the concrete with the scouring pad until all the glue is removed. It will chemically soften the adhesive for quick and easy removal. Leave that frustration in the dust by easily removing vinyl tile glue from your flooring. The adhesive will only work if applied directly to the glue on the subfloor.
If the old and new adhesives are not compatible this can become a sticky. If there are still several tiles stuck to the floor place a piece of dry ice on the tile. Staining can come from the ingredients in the old adhesive. If there is still more glue left or if the above methods fail it is time to use an eco friendly adhesive remover.
If the existing floor covering in a bad shape it must be removed before installing new flooring.
