Opencv Change Mat In Function

I readed an image which type of it is cv 8uc1 and i want to convert it to cv 32fc1 but when i use convertto function my image become completely white and i don t know why. The aspect ratio can be preserved or not based on the requirement. Which have the all the other opencv functions in the above example code.
