Med surg is much more broad. These nurses often work long shifts including nights weekends and holidays.

I learned excellent assessment skills but felt the floor was too fast paced to allow practice with iv insertions and other med surg skills telemetry actually means the transmission of data from a remote location using wires or radio waves there are neuro telemetry areas as well.
